Today’s recipe that I am featuring is my Avocado Balsamic Salad!
This Recipe is my healthy spin on the traditional Italian Caprese salad.
~ 1 Avocado: Great healthy fat that lowers your cholesterol and will also nourish your skin.
~ Cherry Tomatoes: Rich in antioxidants.
~ Cannellini Beans: Great source of protein for vegans.
~ Purple Onion: Cut up small slices of purple onion. Rich in vitamin C.
~Daiya Cheese: Daiya cheese is made out of pea protein so you do not have suffer the side effects of eating dairy but still get to enjoy the taste. ( I am addicted to cheese)
~ Drizzle olive oil: Another healthy fat that is great for your skin, hair, and nails. (Post doing soon on best hair products)
~ Natural Pure Balsamic Vinaigrette: Normalizes blood pressure. Just make sure it is a natural and pure one from a store similar to whole foods so it does not contain unnecessary sugars.
- This recipe is so quick to stir up if you are in a rush. In order to achieve weigh loss it is important to be prepared to make healthy meals in a pinch. When we are in a rush we often grab the closest food to us and the unhealthy choices add up. You can do this! This recipe is great if you are trying to make a POSITIVE change in your life, are vegan, or are vegetarian.
